The South Carolina Craft Distillers Guild recently retained Sweatman Strategies to take over the guild management. The SCCDG is excited to welcome them to the team and can't wait to see what's in store with their leadership. See more information and bios below.

Lisa recently comes from the Adams and Reese Law Firm and opened her own Government Affairs and Association Management company in July of 2021. She has nearly 20 years of experience working in government affairs and 10 years in association management in SC. She also has experience in event planning, fundraising, campaigns and real estate.

Campbell joins Sweatman Strategies and the South Carolina Brewers Guild from the South Carolina Public Charter School District where he managed the day-to-day operations of communications, public affairs, board governance and legislative advocacy. Campbell’s wide array of experiences in the public affairs sector has taught him the interpersonal skills needed to build relationships, collaborate efficiently, and implement strategy effectively.

Laura comes to the Guild with a wide range of experience. After 13 years in the pharmaceutical industry specializing in sales and management development, Laura transitioned to volunteer fundraising where her fundraising reach averaged more than $55k per event. Laura will be directing all South Carolina Craft Distillers Guild fundraising events as well as overseeing affiliate memberships.

Lydia is a Junior at The University of South Carolina pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science. She will be assisting Lisa and Campbell with matters related to association management and government affairs.
